UAE: ANHRI Calls for the Immediate Release of the Egyptian Detainees and Drop all the Charges Pressed on them, which Could Reach Penalty of Execution

ANHRI denounces the arrest of the UAE authorities to a large number of Egyptians who reside in UAE, due to allegations of administration prohibited organization in UAE that belongs to the Muslims Brotherhood Group in Egypt.

In the last few days UAE disclosed information related to arresting number of Egyptian in December 2012, without reasons of arrest before the picture became clear during the last two days, when the UAE announced the arrest of number of Egyptian who reside on its terrorty. The charges of organizing a secret organization in UAE, helding meetings in different places in UAE and embarking to recruit the sons of the Egyptian community in UAE to join the organization on them. They were also accused of incorporating companies  and interfaces that support the organization on the territories of the country in addition to raising huge amounts and transferring it, illegally, to the Muslim Brotherhood Group to Egypt. Moreover, they were accused of involving in the operations of collecting classified information related to the defence secrets.

ANHRI obtained some information related to names of some detainees: (“Dr. Abduallah Mohamed Ibrahim Za’z', dentist, “Ahmed Labib Gafar”, journalist and the manager of the seven seas center for consultations and trainings, “Ibrahim Abdulaziz Ibrahim Ahmed”, telecommunication engineer in a petroleum company, “Ahmed Taha”, math school teacher in Ajman educational deteriorate, “Dr. Ali Ahmed Sonbol”, abdominal specialist in the ministry of health, “Morad Mohamed Hamed” an Engineer and the owner of El-Fatah construction company, “Dr. Saleh Farag Diaf-Allah” the manager of monitoring department in the Islamic Dubai Bank, “Salah Rizk El-Mashad” Electro-mechanic Engineer in Dubai municipality”, “Abdullah Mohamed El-Arabi” supervisor to the Islamic educational training in the community schools, “Dr. Mohamed Mahmoud Ali Sahdah” consultant in Rashed mental illness hospital in Dubai and “Dr. Medhat El-Agz”, professor in pharmacy faculty of Ajman university.

ANHRI mentioned that in case the charges pressed on them proved and verified, the penalty could vary from capital punishment and imprisonment for 15 years, especially as the Egyptian officials ignored this case under the name of criminal case.

ANHRI denounces and refuses to the method of arresting the citizens and calls on the authorities of the Egyptian detainees and drop all the charges pressed on them.
