Shubra el-Kheima Thani public prosecution released both: Huwaida Taha; media professional and Karim al-Bheiri; journalist by personal guarantee for the lack of evidence against them after being accused of paying money to disturb public security and peace as they have been working on a report portraying the risks journalists face while covering smuggling weapons and drugs cases.

 The following attended the investigations to defend Huwaida Taha and Karim al-Bheiri:

Mohamed Farouq and Karim Abdul-Radi; both are lawyers in the legal aid unit in ANHRI. They asked the prosecutor to investigate the incident of housebreaking al-Behri’s without a warrant and they accused, whoever is responsible for this incident, of private life violations and terrorizing innocent people.

 ANHRI knew that authorities have arrested the journalist; Nash’at al-Elwani for the same reason but is not sure of his whereabouts untill now. ANHRI lawyers are following his legal position awaiting him to attend the interrogation.
