Mansoura Criminal Court acquitted today Major General Ahmed Abdel-Baset,
Security Director of the city of Dakahlia, Major General Adel al-Barbary, General Director of Central Security of East Delta, Captain Hossam Badawy, officer at the Security Forces Administration, and Major Mahmoud Saqr, head of the Verdict Implementation Unit at Mansoura police station I.

The Court was presided by Judge Mansour Saqr, and Judges Mohamed Sha’ban and Sharif Koura were members in it. The prosecution had accused the defendants of premediated murder of three revolutionaries and attempted murder of another hundred in Dakahlia during the revolution of January 25. Riots broke out in the Court following the verdict.
