ANHRI condemns the trial of a Tunisian activist for posting a comments on Facebook and also the reactivation of the terrorism law

ANHRI condemns the trial of a Tunisian activist for posting a comments on Facebook and also the reactivation of the terrorism law, there is no justifications to work by the law of the outset president “bin Ali”, such law is provide to be ineffective and constitutes a threat to the freedoms.
ANHRI condemns the trial of the known activist “Emad Dgedag” due to an allegations of burning a police center. He will appear before the “the Tunisian first instance court I” on Friday June 22. Although the allegations addressed to him but he was arrested due to posting comments against the police forces on “Facebook”. ANHRI considers his arrest as a punishment for his activity and defending the martyrs and injuries rights during the revoultion, which should be considers as a serious coming back to the police methodology at the time of “Ben Ali”.
ANHRI said “he represents a model of the serious violations which is covered by the terriorism law”
he was arrested after the refection of the terrorism law. It is the balck and bad notorious law which is ratified by “Bin Ali” on 2003, in which thousands were imprisoned or sent to trial in unfair trial. The riots and protests conducted by the Salfias, were the justification of the Tunisian authorities to re-effect the terrorism law.
A terrorism specialized team arrested “Emad” in Balkaragany, on Wednesday at the dawn, the member of “El-Nahdah” movement and the admin of the Facebook page “Men of the revolution in Karam”, due to posting some writings, that the authorities allegate that it contained an incitement against the police and the army.
Witness mentioned that after the dawn prayer, on 4:00 o’clock exactly, three cars of different brands, stopped near the Cafe’ in which “Emad” went to. Seven police officers, some of them were wearing a civilian closes and some wearing the police costumes with a mask and armed withs sticks. They arrested him and he was directed to the unknown place.
Activists said that he is in the arrest center in “Boshosha”, as the case file, have not been compeleted yet.
ANHRI said that “the method of the arrest, are getting us back, the violations conducted by the Tunisian authorities at the term period of “Bin Ali”, which arouses a lot of doubts that the Tunisian revolution, have not reached fully to the security forces”.
It is worthy to be mentioned, that “Emad” a political activist who played a very important rule in the revolution in “western of Karam, where he was enthusiastic the peoples of Karam to protest and express there refusal against the Bin Ali’s regime. The political police harassed him and baned him from working, although he has the profession-ship in mathematics.
After the revoultion “Emad” continued its activity and founded the committee to defend the rights of the injuries and the martyrs families. He was arrested during the government term of “El-Sbsy”, in allegations of burning a police station on 15 January during the Tunisian revolution, instead of put who killed and abuses the revolutionaries in Karam, until now none of them were committed to any trials yet.
ANHRI join its voice with the Tunisian human rights organization to call the Tunisian authority to stop the working with terrorism law immediately and end it for ever. It is also added “some riots or violence are not the justification to re-effect unconstitutional and police-tic law to confront violence which will be bring woes to people. The normal and regular laws are sufficient to face the out the law people and put them to trial”
ANHRI calls for the immediate release of “Emad” and secures his safety. It is also warned from getting back to the police methodology at the era of “Bin Ali”, and added “it will have a severe consequences on the Country”.
