ANHRI Congratultes the Activist Khaled El-Jahni of his release

ANHRI Congratulates the the  Activist Khaled El-Jahni of his releases. He was released on August 2012 after he spent more than a year inside the Saudi prisions without charges but expresses his opinion.
The Saudi regime has arrested the activist, “Khalid Al-Juhani” on March 11, 2011 and sent to a prisons, minutes after conducted an interview with the BBC Arabic, after warnings by security forces him not to talk with the channel in an attempt to silence the mouths.He talked about the lack of freedom in Saudi Arab Saudi Arabia, criticized what he called the lack of freedom of the press in Saudi Arabia and attributed it the absolute monarchy. He also said that the citizen in Saudi Arabia need a relationship with one of the princes of Al Saud royal family to serve his needs and added at the end of his speech he was sure he would be arrested before he could reach his home. Then he asked journalists that Visit him in the prison of “Al-Haer” or prison “Alysia”, where Khaled was the only one protester who reached the place to be of the demonstration as a result of the intensive presence of the security in that day, and indeed this is what happened where he was detained for a period in the prison of  “Alysia” before being transferred to the prison of “Al-Haer,” On February 22, 2012 he was in the criminal court competent in Riyadh. The Court had already constituted in 2008 to set the detainees into trials due to terrorism charges and included a list of charges for “Juahni” as the support of the demonstrations, presence in places of the demonstration, contact with foreign media, including harm to the reputation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Saudi authorities, last month, for the release of “Juahni” for 48 hours to visit his family before being finally released on August 6, 2012 once also said “Juahni” on his own account on the site of the social network “Twitter.”
ANHRI said that the “release” of Khalid Al-Juhani, which came too late in arbitrarily way by the Saudi regime, comes after a fierce campaign launched by the Saudi regime against activists and opposition in the country in the recent period, which met by many of demonstrations and protests against the arrests especially in the Eastern Province, which the government did not hesitate to supress it through the use of force and excessive violence.
ANHRI said that the Saudi regime must immediately release all the detainees in the prisons of Saudi Arabia and give the opportunity to opinion express without any restrictions, that  if the Saudi regime seriously seeks to improve its bad image in the field of human rights and suppression of freedoms, that image that made it in the first place of the freedom suppressive states.
