ANHRI and the Egyptian Organization conclude the second training workshop under the title “Application of professional ethics on the media coverage during the interim period”

ANHRI and the Egyptian Organization for Human Rights concluded on Thursday, August 9, from the second workshop to train journalists on the professional ethics for the press during media coverage of the new Republic of Egypt’s, this come as a complement to the workshop held before in the network on last June 27, which took place on the applied principles for the news during the media coverage of the elections.
The workshop discussed, which lasted for three hours and attended by 12 journalists from various newspapers (national,partisan and independent), the basics of the choice of the journalistic sources and the methods of finding the news. Yasser Al-Zayat, the writer, conducted the workshop who confirmed that the selection criteria of journalistic sources that create professional journalist.
The workshop was held in the framework of the event of Media Monitoring Project, organized by the ANHRI and the Egyptian Organization. The reports have issued related to the results of the monitoring project, in which some violations were observed to the television programs and news sites. The workshop took place starts of the concept of the civil society’s role in the development of media performance.
