Though twelve years have passed, a Tunisian executioner trial in France

A French court will be held on the 1st of December to consider torture allegations brought against a former Tunisian diplomat. The trial of Khalid Ben Said, former vice-consul to France following a lawsuit brought by Zulaikha Al-Arabi on allegedly torture she ws exposed to in 1996 in Tunisia. Zulaikha did not give up until she was able to bring her case to Barin court in France, to put an end to escaping justice and give hope to victims of torture in the world.
But in many other Arab countries and third world countries, where those executioners are expected to visit state where the judiciary is independent, even years after their trials for torture crime that could not be dropped by time.
It is an experience that lawyers and activists, and the victims in countries in which the torture is common practice, and associated with impunity such as “Egypt, Syria, Saudi, and Tunisia”.
It is a step on the road of prosecuting the executioners who are practicing their wildness backed with their governments, and based on turning the blind eye to nondependent judiciary apparatuses in these countries.
