IMPRISONMENT RULING AGAINST JOURNALIST MAGDI HUSSAIN
The military court in Ismailia issued a ruling today in case 11/2009 of two years in prison and a LE5000 fine against Magdi Hussain, the journalist and secretary general of al-Amal "Labor" party, for illegally entering Gaza.

HEARING OF ANHRI'S LAWSUITS AGAINST INTERIOR AND FOREIGN MINISTERS POSTPONED
The Court of Administrative Judiciary, first circle for individuals, decided to postpone hearing of the lawsuit filed by the Arabic Network for Human Rights Information against the President of the republic and foreign minister. The lawsuits demands the deposition of the foreign minister and knowledge of the reasons behind the disappearance of the Egyptian internet activist eng Yousef al-Eshmawi in Saudi Arabia. The hearing sessions were postponed to 24/3/2009 for submission of documents and reply.

The same circle decided to postpone hearing of lawsuit filed by ANHRI against the minister of interior to know the whereabouts of blogger Mohammed Adel and to oblige the interior minister with financial compensation for material and moral damage to 24 March 2009 for the submission of documents and memos and reply.

APPEAL HEARING IN CASE OF BLOCKING 51 BLOGS AND WEBSITES
The supreme administrative court with the State Council referred the appeal against ruling by the Administrative Judiciary Court to close fifty one websites and blogs to the first circle with the same court for hearing on the 4 April 2009 hearing
